2020 was, well, 2020. But it wasn't all bad. Here's a look back at some of our highlights over the last year:
▪️ Our Black is Beautiful collaboration with Beer Diversity, Block 3, Short Finger Brewing, and Counterpoint Brewing raised $6,500 for the African, Caribbean, and Black Network Waterloo Region
▪️ We were able to avoid any lay offs or staffing cuts due to COVID 19, and instead welcomed new individuals to our team!
▪️ Created a Diversity and Inclusion fund to support internal initiatives such as hiring BIPOC consultants and artists, forming partnerships with BIPOC businesses, running events that create awareness and raise funds for organizations that support our local BIPOC community
▪️ Achieved our official certification as a living wage employer
▪️ Sales of our Pride T-shirt design raised $131.25 for Spectrum Waterloo Region, and $131.25 for our Diversity and Inclusion fund
▪️ Launched an online store and Ontario-wide delivery
▪️ Put our flagship brews Wobbly Wheel and Birds & Bees Blonde Ale into cans for the first time ever
▪️ We took part in the global All Together beer initiative, raising $600 for the Working Centre
▪️ Worked with 9 community partners to hold our annual Craftoberfest event.
▪️ Turned our parking lot into an outdoor patio for the summer season!
